The Elegant Solution
My name is Leah; it's awfully nice to meet you.
I've lived in Berkeley, Paris, New York, Silicon Valley, and the Seattle Area. I've worked in marketing and communications at world-class museums and cultural organizations on the East and West Coast. I've coached children and teens to victory at highly competitive speech and debate tournaments. I've told a tall tale or two in competition for Toastmasters. I am in love with words, with gorgeous design, with bright color, bold pattens, and white space. I'm especially good at understanding your branding and design needs, and finding creative solutions to your communication challenges. My approach is joyful, detail-oriented, and collaborative. I look forward to finding the best strategy to complete your project. |
Farobank
A Design PhilosophyFarobank is a card game once popular in the courts of the French kings. A highly adaptable game of chance, it grew in popularity in Germany and England before it hopped the pond to become the most popular gambling game of the Wild West. It was eventually pushed to obscurity by the rise of poker.
I love games - challenges with rules, systems to master, and objectives to be met. I have always believed that every project (whether written, spoken, or graphic) is something of a game or puzzle in need of a solution. A Rubik's Cube of creativity. A challenge with many moving parts. No, there's no cheating. Deal me in. Let's play! Above: Georges de la Tour, The Cheat with the Ace of Diamonds, 1636-38. |
